With nearly two months having elapsed since the tragic massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, gun control advocates and opponents have made their arguments, debated the merits of the other's positions and, for the most part, have agreed to disagree. But for gun control advocates, the conversation never ends -- even if the only people still listening are those already in agreement. A case in that point was made today when a cavalcade of Hollywood stars joined several prominent Democratic politicians to "demand a plan" to address gun violence.

On this morning's edition of Morning Joe, the panel took on the leaked document showing how the Obama administration justifies its expanded executive authority to assassinate an American citizen abroad through drone strikes. Host Joe Scarborough clashed a bit with other panelists as he felt the entire ordeal is a "frightening" development in Obama's administration. "Here you have something truly chilling," Scarborough said of the drone news. "Here you have the United States government saying, we can kill you, American citizen. You have no constitutional right to a jury by your peers. You have no constitutional right even to probable cause or to due process. You have no right to a lawyer. You have no right to counsel.

On Wednesday, the hosts of Fox & Friends tore into President Barack Obama and his administration for attempting to justify deadly drone strikes against American citizens overseas while maintaining their opposition to waterboarding. The Fox News Channel hosts also went after Democrats for being vocally opposed to tactics used by the Bush administration, like warrantless wiretapping and the Guantanamo Bay prison, but who remain silent when Obama uses his authority to target Americans with deadly force.
